Rear iron sight that attaches to dove tail

The factory is a peep. It has a very short stock, meant for kids, and mounting an iron sight where the peep is doesn't work too well because it is too close to your face. It doesn't have a traditional 3/8 inch dovetail, but one can be added in the form of a scope mount from the manufacturer. I was hoping to get the dove tail scope mount, and get a peep to go on it. Something like a williams wgrs receiver sight, but open, not a peep.

EDIT: Actually I am having trouble getting the scope mount in Canada. :( So it might be pointless.

Most aftermarket sights are going to be peep sights.
You could have the barrel cut for a tradition 3/8" dovetail(not the scope base kind) by a good gun smith to fit traditional rear sights. Front sight might have to change if you went that way.

Maybe take the peep, including if you find one for the scope rail, and cut a notch in the top of it to use as a open rear sight?

Willams you can get one with V notches. Went thru a nightmare trying to find a fully adjustable rear dovetail sight and ended up not being the best.

Yeah you can order a number of rear sights for the WGRS or look to see if they make one for that rifle. The WGRS 54 mounts to a 3/8" dovetail. If you know the center to center spacing of the bolt holes and the diameter of the action (assuming its a round receiver) then you should be able to pick something out of their catalog or give them a call once you have those measurements. If you go to their website you can download their catalog. Lots of cool stuff in there, you should be able to pick out something you like.
