Rear ladder sight for Savage musket

The sight is for a Savage 1899 musket.

That sight is essentially unobtainium.
I have a vested interest, seeing as the sight was removed from my Savage musket when a tang sight was installed.....

Good morning Tiriaq. I got it in a "lot" of gun stuff. I expect that it is worth some $$$$ but nobody is really coming clean about that. I may use it for trade bait for something or just sell it. I will put you on the list of interested persons. I can now understand why so many folks have PM'd me! I am tempted to go back to the source and ask where the rifle is that it came from? David.... I did note that in all the muskets I was able to find on line that only one still had the original sight.

It would be worth asking about the rifle. Savage 99 muskets are rare, and the Montreal Home Guard rifles have Cdn significance.
