The Backup sights on Tavor is not bad . but the hole is too small for me.
no problom to hit 100Y. But I choose not use that.( i cut it off and don't use it.) and i replace the longer Rail.and put the HK sights on the rear.more accuray on 100Y.

I like what i do . On that rail. I can put what even i want.

Eotech with 4X magnifier. No problom.

Aimpoint with Magnifier. No problom.

Also with Hunting scope. No problom.

But my love is put the ACOG in

This is the best But not very good for close range.
So one day i add the Eotech into the front Rail an make it flip 25 degree .
for close range. you kown what. they wonderful. fast for the close shot and nice for the long range.

and you can see 25 degree Flip is pefect for both sights.

Yes. I have to try the docter sight but i stick with Eotech.because i like the 65 moa .circle.

Closeup, need a slight riser for the eotech to be perfect, about 5mm

Can still use the BUIS, the 3X Gen II Magnifier comes with a 7mm riser.

Didn't the Magnifier come with two different heights of riser? Looking at the EOTech website it looks to be the case:

According to the webpage: "This magnifier aligns perfectly with standard height sights and comes with a 7mm riser to accomadate the 7mm raised sights."

So can't you simply take out the 7mm riser and use the standard height?

I'm looking at the same setup myself so before I spend that kind of case, I'd prefer it works good!

Yes I can take out the riser of the magnifier and it will perfectly align with the Eotech but the magnifier is hitting the rear buis sight. I have to raise them both to be 100% aligned and for the magnifier to clear the rear buis. I am not cutting off the rear buis, that's 100% for sure.
This is not an issue on the new Tavors where the rear buis folds in the rail like a toothpick
