Rear monopods

Hey Guys, I thinking about ordering a couple of accushot monopods to try on some rifles. Just wondering how many of you out there have mounted rear monopods and how do you like it?

I have them on 2 of my rifles they work as advertised but i also us rear bags as well this is due to the terrian I am shooting in. There is a Myth out there that using a rear monopod can change your POI [point of impact] when shotting with or with out the monopod it is utter BS.No change of POI

I had one and found that a rear bag (od army sock filled with poly beads, not the suede rabbit ear type bags)) was more versatile. I agree with Savage. Unless you are shooting at the same point all the time where the firing point/terrain doesn't change, it works okay. As a result, I sold it and still use a sock that I can manipulate to match the area that I am shooting in. Hope this helps.
