I wish I had a Cheytac...

M200.jpg

I have (and would never sell) my Tikka master sporter .308, 3200 mildot Bushnell Elite 10x, Harris Bipod on the front and use the sandbags at the range to support the butt/stock when shooting. I rather like the look of the monopod as seen on the Cheytac.

Anybody use one?

Who would sell one?

Thanks

I have and have used the Accushot monopod. I'm not that impressed by it. My next try for the ideal field-use rear support will be the Triad Redman bag that sitting on the table.

I had an Accushot mounted on my Master Sporter, and for extended period field use, it could not be beat. They are available at Wolverine Supply. I did not use it off of a bench, nor did I deploy it for fast field shots. On long range shots, when one could wait quite some time for the right opportunity, it was just the ticket. The longer you go, the less stable it gets. Keep it as short as possible.

I also have a CTK mono-pod. It is a very nice piece of kit, but I found it to be very sensitive to cheek weld pressure. I only had it on my XCR Compactical for about 100 rds. Maybe I'll put it back on and try it again.
