Rear sighht issue with Inglis No.1 Mk1*

So, I took my New Inglis out to the range for the first time today, shot off just shy of 100 rounds. I am very impressed with the accuracy and feel of the High Power. But one problem I noticed was the adjustable rear sight will not "lock" in to place, so it will advance a little after every shot, so I have to reset the sights after every shot or two. I can slide the sight without having to press the buttons on each side. Any idea's on how to fix this? Its a non-matching one so If I have to replace its no big deal.

This fault was noticed on these arms in 1944 and does not seem to have been corrected.

Is their any way to keep the sight still, without using a permanent method?

There should be a small spring inside the hollow of the detente button, check if it is missing.
