Got a VCAS 2 point sling. Really like it and slapped it on one of my AR's that have sling mounts attached (front bottom of rail and on stock).
I will be purchasing QD mounts for my other AR, which it was intended for. The front mount is easy, buy a rail mounted one and position it where you like.
My question is for the rear. Either get the QD mount that attaches to the buffer which would be positioned behind the grip or the one that attaches to the stock. I'm leaning towards the one on the stock as I plan on placing the front one closer to the receiver, instead of placing it way out front on the rail.
I just want to hear from other experienced CGN'ers on where they attached their sling mounts and why.
