Unfortunately I have to sell my Tavor to pay for a downpayment on a house. So, I'm going to, what I think, is downgrade, to an AR (argue all you want, its personal preference). I have a decent AR already but the trigger isnt nice at all (though it IS better than the Tavor… lol). Im wondering if there is a reasonably priced trigger or trigger kit I can buy that drops in to an AR and improves pull, or is adjustable or whatever, just better than the trigger than comes in a standard LPK.

Any ideas would be great.

Really depends on what you're after? A decent "stock" trigger I would say ALG, if you want "holy wow!" trigger I would say Geisselle, Gold, Jewel, JP, Chip McCormick. What kind of AR as in what kind of setup and purpose? I will shamelessly plug my add for Chip McCormick as I have two for sale.

try polishing the factory trigger surfaces yourself before you toss your dollars downstream. there are quite a number of youtube tutorials giving step by step instructions, all you really need is a lot patience and a bit of skill.

I think I'm going to take one of TDC's CMC drop in units. They seem like a good, easy choice that wont require alot of fiddling around.

Thanks for the info guys

Read a good review about the spikes battle trigger with some jp springs from brownells. It's a standard trigger but with the lighter weight springs and NiBo coating apparently it was pretty slick

Yes, but the receipt doesn't have an accent, or smell of dark rum and cod. Also, if you live in Alberta, shipping is cheaper. As is in store purchase.

LOL! Steve and Walt are excellent gunnutz; I highly recommend them for their service. Their accents aren't so bad either... They must be townies.
