Reasonably priced upgraded trigger for AR-15

I just took a honing stone to the seer faces to smooth the engaging surfaces, and voila, sweet crisp trigger that felt very close to my Colt C7. Tune up what you got before you blow a lot of money for no reason!

Read a good review about the spikes battle trigger with some jp springs from brownells. It's a standard trigger but with the lighter weight springs and NiBo coating apparently it was pretty slick

I have these in my ADCOR/HERA builds. The JP springs were next on my list. The spike trigger is regular weight which is on the heavy side but they are nice and crisp. The JP springs should make them perfect.

For the OP, I'd get the $3 JP springs to lighten the trigger and G96 your trigger along with dry firing. You might not need a new trigger set at all.

It only happened when my convertion kit was in. I put in a Wolf spring kit and the issue with my .22 kit disappeared

Looked deeper online, and your comment is sound.

Seems on some applications light strikes will occur. Some will say thats ok on a range gun. But Im not taking the chance.
