My father-in-law has a pistol that a retired policeman gave him. It was his service revolver. He wants to give it to me, but it is prohibited 4" barrel. I did some looking on here and found that it can be reclassed, but what might the cost be. Its a S&W 38 special. k-frame if I'm not mistaken.
