I'm lookin at a 1867 antique rolling block that's been converted to 50/70. My plan is to effectively waste a lot of money to get something worthless and unquestionably unsellable after. I'd like to re barrel this old timer to 25/35.
What all is involved in doing this. The rim size is different. Is there any other problems I'm going to face?
My goal is to have the action case colored along with all the other metal parts. 22" blued barreled. 3 leaf rear express sight with hooded front sight with flip up ivory night sight. New Zealand hardwood for stock and forearm.
This will be a walking stalking type rifle for coyotes. I realize this gun will take Time and a lot of money to complete
