Holy cow! Very attractive ! You done very well !! A very faithful representation. I like how you worked in the AICS magazine conversion, too. At least you know you can always buy more AICS magazines and they are also great quality.

Cheers,
Barney

P-H Mike, nice work. i have the stock and would like to also make a C3 clone. Do you know where I can obtain a P-H action. How about the mag and bottom wardware?

Regards,

Peter

Jim Dugan from Saskatoon is the smith who built it. I applied the Armacoat, made the bolt handle and the mag conversion, currently this is just the prototype, I am working on version 2 for the mag setup. As for an action, I can't help you there.

Isn't the action the same as the PH 1200? I've got a PH 1200 in .300 Win mag that uses the same 5 rd detachable mag as the C3. I was kind of surprised when I looked at a couple of the C3's at my unit that they used a long action.

It would be nice to build a C3 clone in .300 Win Mag.

That's a nice lookin' bolt handle, almost thought is was Badger Ord unit that you had checkered.

Looks good Mike, 43 to 44.5g of Varget with a 175g MK and 210M's should do the trick too... Look out for our Regina buddy's load of 47 to 48g, probably will pop the primers on that min spec chamber of yours :)

Probably not Mike, I use a front rest so that rules me out of your shoot from what I have read in the rules, plus busy here at Nokomis on June 9-10 and June 30-July 1 for matches and I'm on call (f$%^$) from June 15 to June 28th, I hate this on call stuff, gets in the way of my shooting!
