Rebirth of my C3a1

Found out that my old 46.0 grain varget recepie that worked fine with my factory barrel/chamber Remy 700 ain't such a good combo when applied to a new match chamber. Some interesting pressure signs, and so I backed off in testing down to 43.0. Slightly tamer, and some sub 1/2 MOA groups showed up in testing, now with a big batch done up, we'll see how it really performs.

(BTW, nice C-3A1 clone. Looks pretty sweet!)

Isn't the action the same as the PH 1200? I've got a PH 1200 in .300 Win mag that uses the same 5 rd detachable mag as the C3. I was kind of surprised when I looked at a couple of the C3's at my unit that they used a long action.

It would be nice to build a C3 clone in .300 Win Mag.

That's a nice lookin' bolt handle, almost thought is was Badger Ord unit that you had checkered.

Pretty much the same receiver, different mag assembly though, if memory serves. - dan
