Any idea of the ballpark cost to reblue a shotgun these days ?

Depends on the prep it needs. I’d guess 4-500

Quality prep is time consuming. It is also critical if quality results are desired.

To do a quality job on a Winchester Model 12 requires the metal to be in very good condition to start with... and if it is very good it could still easily cost 6 or 7 hundred dollars when completed. The prep work takes all the time, the actual bluing not so much.
