Reccomend a red dot for a KSG?

I seem to keep grappling with the desire to put some sort of optic on my KSG but I have no experience with anything other than scopes and iron sights. I have looked at the Bushnell TRS-25, several other small red dots and the reflex sights that seem to be cheap knock offs.


I currently have BUIS on it but they are way too slow for moving targets, did manage to crack a couple clays but takes too long to acquire targets.


I'm concerned some of the optics have fine dots more for rifle use or may be unsuitable on a shotgun let alone a KSG.

Don't want to break the bank but will not buy junk just to have to buy good stuff later, something that would work on an AR as well (down the road...) would be great!

Can't go wrong withe a TRS 25.
Have ran them on my 12 gauge and CZ 858 and they held up well.

I also have 2 trs-25's. one on a SKS and one on my Mossberg 500 12 gauge. Works great for clays! I set my zero with slugs at about 30-35 yards mod choke, hits the clays every throw! Currently selling one for something a little different.

I have tried Vortex sparc and crossfire on my KSG, and both hold up fine.

I LOVE MY EXPS 2-0. The small dot is your aimimg point and the ring kind of serves as a good way to quikly aquire targets up close.
