Reccomend me a .22 target/ hunting bolt rifle

Marlin XT-22, with a tubular mag.

Micro-Groove rifling lets them shoot like a laser, and the tube mag holds 17 rounds of .22LR or 25 rounds of .22 Short.

Don't need to spend $1000 on a rifle when something a fifth of the price will get the job done just as well... But then I have the Russian point of view that utility beats all. :D

Just picked up a cz 452 varmint in 22lr yesterday. After having it out I'm picking up my 452 varmint 17hmr tomorrow, and ordered two 527's varmint my local shop today :) the fit & finish is great, I love the walnut stock & she's no slouch in the accuracy department. I prefer the barrel length and the weight of the HB varmint contour myself. Obviously my vote is CZ

No one seems to mention the Mossbergs . The 144 LSB will hold its own against many of the big name, big priced rifles. I also like the old Marlins for field (gopher) shooting out to 200 yards.
