Reccomended scope for a 308

Okay i think i found my new next favourite rifle, its a barely used Sako in 308, the price is incredible but if I sink this much into a gun its going to have good glass.

So what you figure I should dress it with? Triijicon, Night Force, Bushnell 6500? I really am looking for the best information I can, this is probably the rifle of a lifetime as I am Generally frugal. But goddamn it felt right

Is it a TRG? My favorite scopes right now are the Vortex Viper PST line in whatever flavour you like best... mmmmm Viper PST.

what sort of price range are you after? after looking threw and buying a schmidt and bender every thing else fails in comparison, so they would be my #1 recomendation, then for a bit less you can get into a night force ..

we can give you sugestions form $1000-3000+ so the real question is how deep are you pockets?

3-9x40 Zeiss Conquest, Best $400-500 bucks you will spend on optics.

Step up to a 4.5 -14 if you wanna stretch out for targets and varmints and still under 1K.

Hunting rifle? Target rifle? What kind of Sako? Finnlight? TRG? Intended use pretty much dictates the optics.
