I'm about to start loading for my Webley Mk. VI. I've got a batch of new brass made out of .45Colt (from Buffalo Arms, and powder will be Herco and bullets are HBRN 265gr.) Would like to have suggestions for which primer to use. Thanks
The correct primer for the 455 is the pistol primer you have that is the right size. What makes you think a 455 would be any different than any other revolver?
I don't have any primers for it. And haven't reloaded for any handgun cartridges. What makers are producing pistol primers, and is there any significant difference?
Thanks. Anyone have any reason for thinking one brand is noticeably better than any other? I've used Federal, CCI, and Winchester in my rifle reloads and never noticed any difference, and will tend to assume it's going to be the same with the handgun cartridges.
