Anyone ever received the wrong transfer for there restricted. Happened today. Got an email saying its approved but I never purchased that particular gun. Turns out they couldn't fulfill my order on the day i purchased it and i guess somehow filled in my info on someone else's purchase. Waiting to hear from the store to see what's going to happen. Yes, it happened to me about 3 years ago. The store told me they would look after it but just to be sure, I called the CFO a couple of weeks later and they checked into it and got right back to me to let me know they had found the error. Not sure that they had ever heard from the store. Even after the phone call, I received the registration certificate a few weeks later for the incorrect gun.
Don't leave it. You don't want a gun registered in your name in someone else's hands, if they ship it to the correct buyer.

Tell them to just send the gun now that it is papered to you .
I had 2 of the same models one time, sent the info on the wrong gun, but that was simple , as I just supplied the other one that matched the numbers.

I never paid for the gun that is now registered to me. That's the thing. After seeing the paper work Id be glad to have it though.

Which dealer?

Well that's going to be awkward and a pain in the bass. Not so bad if it were a few months ago, but sorting that in a timely fashion seems like it will be monumental.

I would let the dealer deal with it as they probably have an easier track into the transfer process.

Make sure you give an update on how it is handled and the result. With the number of guns sold it is probably not going to be the first or last.

I just received an SP-01 yesterday instead of the SP-01 Shadow I ordered, about to call now and see what can be done about it. Not sure what to expect as I know they won't have any Shadows in stock to replace it with and won't be getting any more in either obviously so I'll likely end up keeping it as it's better than a refund and no gun, however I want some money back or something to that effect as the Shadow is a more expensive gun.

The powers that be don't care about the money part, now the store may have ideas on that.
My point, while a joke, is that you now own it as far as the feds are concerned.

Yes I spoke with the dealer again today and they said it's been reversed. I said I wanted confirmation. Said they couldn't provide it. Emailed the CFO today so see what they have to say.

If you have the reference number, it is easy, when , if you can phone in. Just list the reference number.
Email may be easier.
I would not worry, no reason the store would not fix it,
I had a couple transfer reversed over the years, it was just a phone call, with the info. one was a warranty exchange, the other was bad paper, cold feet.

Yup. The horsemen are going to go into town, a ridin, and a whoopin. Regular #5, when someone dies and needs to turn in their prohibited. Two years buy/sell in the two weeks after the "freeze" , two more since. The restricted registry will make the LGR look accurate,.anyone able.to make sense of the mess will be on stress leave.

What pistol?
