Hi lads,
Recently picked up a Long Branch No4 Mk1 with an ugly stock covered in savage parts, so decided to bring it back to its former glory. Over paid for an unissued stock off eBay.... but then impulse bought a beautiful Canadian maple stock from a fellow CGN'r. Now with an extra stock on my hands the most logical thing to do was to buy another No4 sporter and start the process all over again. The first as I said is a Long Branch No4 Mk1* dated 1943, the second is a Maltby No4 Mk1 dated 1942. Both rifles have beautiful metal with hardly any pitting whatsoever, strong rifling and are sitting happy in their full military glory once again. Very happy with my latest project and am pleased to own two of the nicest stocks I've come across in a while.
Cheers.
