It is all over the I-net, IIRC blunderbuss events have been added to some Yank events. Do not what came first barrel availability or the interest.
ONe thing that may have helped is that photos from auctions houses persist on the internet long after the catalogue is closed and guys get a chance to see real ones instead of idealized pilgrim versions. The Brit and belgium offerings of old were pretty seriously smart combat arms and who does'nt appreciate practicality. too bad we are not allowed centrifugal or spring deployed bayonets nothing makes a blunderbus as cool as that added bit of smart.
Do not underestimate the influence of the steam punk movement..... Zombies and good looking pirates in eyeliner. LOL>
