About a year ago I bought a Henry 30-30 at Cabela's. I returned it a week later because the sights were so misaligned that at the maximum adjustment one way I was still hitting about 8" off the other way. They took it back with no hassle for a store credit (not a refund). They would have replaced the gun for me with another from inventory but did not have one at the time. Instead I laid out a few more bucks and bought a Marlin 336XLR (stainless/grey laminated stock). I should have bought the Marlin in the first place. The gun has excellent fit and finish, functions perfectly, and groups better than expected (and way better than the Henry).
