What I find funny is the 180gr hornady eld match has a higher bc then the 195gr berger. Should be super to over 2000 yards.

i might be rebarreling my 7mm rem mag into one. I think its a bit big for deer myself.

You think the 7mm RemMag is a bit big for deer or the 300WSM?

The reason I was thinking 300 wsm is because I was trying to avoid rebarreling and was wondering if one could get away with reaming out the chamber and changing out the bolt face. Again, I am no gunsmith and have never had work like this done before. I'll give the smith a call next week and see what they say.

Im sure you would have no problem trading your .308 for a wsm on the EE...

As for rechambering, the wsm will be quite obnoxious in your 20" barrel...

I ended up selling on the ee. I really wanted something bigger than 300 anyway so I ordered a 338 win. Thanks for the advice guys.
