over and above the differences in bullet diameter, I think the 22 rimfire barrel will probably be too slow a twist for anything but the lightest jacketed 22 slugs. 22 rimfire slugs I think are 40 grains
cheers mooncoon
The TC Contender has a selective firing pin. Rimfire or centerfire. You can also change barrels easily. I haven't looked into bullets yet but I'm thinking there is a good chance cast bullets would work
Was the Jet not made from necked .357 mags? Or am I thinking of the 256 Win ?Harold
Can't be any worse than my buddies XP100 in .223 With a 2.5x8 X LER Leupold it cuts less than 1/2 groups all day of the bench.
Firing a Hornet out of a 10" barrel would create a fireball like a 10 megaton nuke. I seriously doubt any reputable smith would do it. You don't really want a 14-16" .30-30 for the same reason.
"...finding a different barrel..." Try Cabela's Canada. Not the U.S. web site. They don't export. Or contact TC's custromer service and ask who their Canadian distributor is. tca_customerservice@tcarms.com
