Recipe for .280

Since reloading my 45-70 has been so much fun, does anyone have a good recipe for a .280? Looking to put a 170 gr. round downrange at about 2700fps. Thanks!

Only use 150gr Nosler BT & Nosler partitions for hunting.
In a Rem 700 22"barrel 53gr H 4831 not very fast but very accurate 1/2 nice deer load and paper load
Lots of H4831 150gr 2900fts thunder on moose

unless you hunt country that offers shots under 250 yards, I wouldnt go with the 170 grain round nose.

Id pick up a box of 150 grain Triple Shocks, 150 or 160 grain Nosler Partitiosn, and some RL19 or H4831sc for powder.

Another vote for Noslers & H4831sc.

add to Partitions, Nosler 140 or 160 Accubonds.

I've had good luck with IMR 4350 and 160gr TSX's. But I think I'm going to switch to 150 gr TSX's and give H4831 sc a try.
