Recipe for Nosler 168 gr. CT in 300 WSM

I bought some combined technology 168 gr., ballistic silvertip bullets to load up in my 300 WSM, but can't find a load recipe for it anywhere on the Hogedon site, Nosler site or any books.

I sent an email to Nosler and am waiting for a response, but wondered if anyone else has been loading this bullet for their 300 wsm yet.

Any books? There's some in the Nosler reloading manual

Checked my friend's Nosler book and there isn't a load for 168 gr. only 165 gr.

Use the 165 data, drop it .5 grains.

I have had real good luck with accubonds and H4350 and H-380 powders 165 gr bullets.

300 WSM Loads

I have not tried these loads as to date. They have been downloaded from other reloading sites. They are as follows.

H 4350 - 67gr 168gr TSX CCI mag primer Chron 3150 fps 24 " barrel

H 4831 - 75gr 168gr Hornady Fed 210 primer Chron 3127 fps 26" barrel

H 4895 - 56.5gr 168gr Nosler HPBT Fed 210 primer Chron 3000fps 26" barrel

IMR 4831 -69gr 168gr TSX Win LRM Chron 3050 fps 24" barrel

Got a phone call this morning from "Mike" at Nosler if you can believe it!! There was an 800 number on the website I found so I left a message yesterday and he called up to say that they just use the load data from 165 gr bullets for the 168s.

I had a sneaky suspicion that was how it worked, but now I know. If anyone else wants the number it's 1-800-285-3701 xt. 1046.
