recipes for 300 rem Ultramag

A buddy has decided that paying close to 100 bucks a box is going to break him so I suggested he come over and use my gear to cut his costs down.......(if he only knew reloading is like Crack )

The rifle is a Rem 700 and I am looking for some info on loads to start him out with.

What works for you ?

Both of my 300ultramags liked the 180gr tsx ahead of 90 to 93gr of R-25.

Lots of .300 RUM data on Hodgdon's site. 110 to 220 grain bullets. You have the dies and shell holder? Not that they're horribly expensive. $44.95 for Hornady dies, here in Ontario. Uses a #38 RCBS shell holder.

I use AA3100 - 86gr, Accubond 200gr, Fed215, OAL 3.677".
Velocity - 3000fps
I am using Forster Benchrest Die Set, which has a nice seater, aderwise is similar to RCBS
Rifle - Rem700 LSS

I use 95 grains Retumbo and a 200 grain Accubond. My dies are Hornady...
I downloaded and printed the info from the Hodgdon website lots of info there...
