Are any clubs reclaiming lead shot? I recall many years ago seeing a machine that operated like a soil tiller that scooped up the top layer of soil to recover fallen lead shot.

With the increasing price of lead are clubs reclaiming fallen shot or thinking about doing it?

Some of the members of the old N.York club may know something about that, as they had to do cleanup when they left their property.
I remember seeing an ad either in the skeet magazine or Shotgun Sports for a company using a machine such as you describe. They were for hire.
If you are serious, I will search through my heaps of stuff to find it for you.
let me know.
BTW.... how did the shoot go on Sun??

Not that many shooters probably due to the weather. Decent target presentations but I couldn't put it together. Shot the course much better in the afternoon with my 28 gauge. Just one of those days.

Vancouver was still mining shot even after Rene left us to chase the big sasquatch in the sky. Harold Sealy and his son were working the pit. Not sure if they still are. A pile of work but with the price of lead going up , afew dollars to be made.
