Recognize This Lee-Enfield Leather Sling?

I've searched all over the internet and can't find any info on what type of sling this is... Civilian?
It's a 1943 (or '45, very faint) Maltby Lee Enfield No 4 MK1.

And sorry for the size of the pictures. They're big!

Looks like a commercial 1" sling. Service slings were 1 1/4" wide.

It may be on a Lee Enfield, BUT is is Not any variation of a service sling.

That's not a Lee Enfield sling, Looks to be an 1909 Argentine Mauser sling. They are that greenish colour.

umm, sorry but I can't help but to throw my two cents in...

With that buckle? and the decorative impressions? and that keeper loop? I'm thinking somebody's belt! ...pressed into service, in time of need of course...
