Recoil of desert eagle

Great, I guess now I know what the next purchase will be.

At least wi .44 mag it's a lot cheaper to shoot than those .50AE rounds, right?

For the record i have shot a lot of magnum handguns but the most annoying (recoil wise) was a norinco tokarev copy in 7.62x25.

I don't know why but it had a bit of a bite and snap, so to say.

ata,

I appreciate reading about your success with Blue Dot propellant and Hornady 265's...I'll try these in my DE, and my Ruger .44 Deerstalker Carbine as well. :)

Best wishes, Jeff/1911.

I am using 16.9 gr of bluedot in winchester cases with Federal Mag primers to move the 265 grain Hornadys out the barrel of a 6" DE at 1435 fps, it loves them and has never jammed up. It is a load from Hornady for the TC, but I have 2 DEs that I shoot LOTS and no problems, the carbine you should be able to go to rifle specs for.

Us , Eagle shooters need to stick together by the way if you ever need parts for 1 I carry most of the stuff that goes wrong and have a real good relationship with Magnum Research down south.

I own a .44 DE and was thinking of ordering parts for the .357 conversion. Who's the best to deal with if I need to order a barrel, bolt, and magazine in a custom finish?
