Hey, any of yous fit an aftermarket recoil pad on a Marlin 336? Any advice? I purchased a Pachmyer Decelerator for mine and it is supposed to be custom fit but not only are the holes wrong (not a major issue since I can drill a new hole) but the fit is a couple mm too short vertically and a few mm too wide horizontally. I've tried the Limbsaver ones designated for 336 as well and the fit was even worse.
Just wondering if anyone out there has had better luck.
Would prefer to avoid the grind to fit route as I am too useless to do that.
