Recoil pad for Mosin Nagants

Yeah, but it's proven women have a higher pain tolerance than men. eg; childbirth! But seriously, they do have a bit of a thump, even my SVT will sit me up a bit.

The SVT-40 is a big pussy cat compared to the M-44 As the action cycles it scrubbes off enough energy that it is a pleasure to shoot.As to women having a higher pain tolerance than men,that maybe so,

The hard rubber ones don't absorb much recoil. Get a Limbsaver slip on pad and you'll love it. It adds around an inch of lop which I need.

I am 6'4" so the extra lop is nice with the pad on, but recoil is not noticeably different. I wear a MOLLE chest rig with my ammo pouches on it that has padded shoulder straps. This works great to soak up a 100 or so rounds from the M91/30. I find the Mosin pleasant to shoot this way in any position, even prone.
