Switched from polymer furniture to vintage wood, looks great but the old recoil pad is hard like a rock. The one from my polymer buttstock is too large, any leads on recoil pads for vintage wood buttstocks? Maybe the dimensions have changed over the years? Any info would be appreciated.

Second the limbsaver, just make sure to read the template instructions so that it prints proper scale. I have one on my synthetic Mossy 500 and it came with a mounting plate for wood stock use.
