recoil pads

Time for a new pad on my .458, anyone use limbsaver if so are they as good as pac.dec.?Who has them in stock?

I have a Rem SPS in 300 ultra mag,the SPS comes with a limbsaver.Makes a big diff.My son has a 338 Ultra mag we just put one on it and diff.is like nite and day.SIR has them in stock so does Wholesale Sports,well worth the money.I have a pac.dec. on my 358 Norma and I don't think it works as well as the limbsaver.

I use both , the Decerator is easier to gring, but I think then Limsaver is a tad easier on the shoulder.

Thanks guys, I shoot this rifle a lot and am getting soft in my old age,and i want to try a limbsaver. i was on AR and there were some guys talking about them mealting or turning soft and gooey. anyone heard of this?

limbsaver is king.

never had one go soft or gooey, but if the gun needs a limbsaver I prolly won;t shoot it enough to break the pad down. it's not a plinker
