Recoils Pads

Looking for a recoil pad for Remington 7600. Not intrested in one to grind down to fit. Is there some where to get one that fits that gun as it has a plastic but plate?

I'd put on a Sims Limbsaver, if you already have a pad just take it off and put the new one on, They are very nice and can be bought at most gun stores.

I put on the Remington Supercell on my 7600 35 Whelen. Fit perfectly. Makes a big difference.

Few things to consider.

1) a recoil pad will extend the length of pull over a butt plate, possibly requiring the shortening of the stock, therefore a precision fit pad probably will not fit (after shortening the stock).

2) Recoil pads designed for a synthetic stock are usually different than those designed for a wood stock. Don't assume a 7600 synthetic pad will fit your wood stocked 7600, and vice versa.

3) Limbsaver has been suggested here already. Kick-Eez also makes a fine product. Consult their websites and download and print the recommended template. Trial fit the template to your rifle and make SURE it fits. Don't assume all stocks are the same between makes/models.
