Recently got a hold of a bergara B14 and was trying to find a good buy-once-cry-once bipod around $200 margin for target shooting around 3~500 Yard;
someone recomanded MDT GRND bipod, but those would require Swivel stud to Pic-rail adapter (as I havent seen a swivel stud option, only Pic rail or ARCA), which no company seems to make one that is available on canadian market
Caldwell make one, but apparently it is too short for GRND bipod as it only have 3 slot unless I want to mount with only 1 crossbolt
Harris makes SRA adapter, So does swagger, but there seems to not be distributed in Canada (or I haven't looked hard enough) and those have good number of slot.
any other recommandation?
No, I'm not buying MDT CYKE, and I was recommanded against Magpul bipod.
Edit: Seems like I probabaly haven't looked hard enough. MDT's Canadian website directly sells a swivel stud mount option, so there's that.
Just need to make sure I pull the trigger during the black friday time?
Still, I would like to listen to your input for this topic

I’ve yet to see bipod salesman at any price point shoot as good as I can with a Harris attached to the sling stud. Really good shooters are getting 1.5 inch or less 3 shot groups three days in row at 600 with custom hunting rifles off a Harris. Not much creativity comes out the education system these days so feckless reinvention replaces actual advancement through engineering.

K.I.S.S.
Purchase a Harris BR 6"-9"bipod & learn to shoot it.
When & if you can outshoot the Harris bipod, upgrade to a unit that is priced accordingly.

Thanks for the recommandations.
After going around I'll probably start with a MDT Oryx bipod, it shares similar feature to a Harris BR (which I persume means benchrest, the BR indicates length I think) and is about the half of the price to start, will move to a GRND once black friday falls.
Harris at the moment its just a bit too expensive (Doesnt help with the fact I'm a cheap steak either.)
At last, which subsection of EE should I go to if I want to scour the market for used bipod?

For a swivel stud rifle, the new MDT Oryx bipod looks very good, but I haven’t had a chance to try one yet. They’re back ordered on their own site, although I saw some available at RDSC as MDT seems to prioritize the dealer channel first.

This is from one of my stocks. You might have to buy the nuts for the inside of your stock separately. I can’t quite remember but I had a gunsmith install one and he made some t-nuts he epoxied in and I installed some with different nuts that had spiked feet to lock into wood. I’m pretty sure Omer at precision optics set me up with everything I needed.
