Recommandation for factory 9x19 ammunition?

Al Flaherty's usually stocks MFS.
Target doesn't have any right now.

MFS is cheaper than dirt (and twice as dirty).
It's crap ammo, but if you are not reloading then there's nothing wrong with it for high volume practice shooting.

In the GTA did you check Target Sports or Al Flaherty's? I remember them having a sale on MFS ammo in the summer but not sure if they stock it normally. Give them a call. Another option is Lebaron but the cheapest ammo in 9mm that they sell is Remington UMC (250 rounds for like $68 I think), if your lucky to find some in stock though. I get my MFS 9mm ammo from Lanz Shooting Supplies since Silverdale is my range.

Target is out and they are rather far from me. I thought Flaherty's was a rifle/hunter store only (from the website) but I called and they actually have 9mm in stock! That's great info. Thanks! They only have winchester but its at 26$ for a box 100, which is damn decent as far as I'm concerned.

So I'll drive there and have a look for sure.

I tried most of them (AE, UMC, BLAZER, PMC, WIN...), I usually end up buying win white box value pack for the price alone. It's decent stuff for my use, but given the choice, I was very impressed by PMC... Not so much by Blazer or Federal.

maybe this is a silly comment ( I don't know anything about toronto), but wouldn't your local indoor range offer some sort of discounted price for purchases in bulk?

Interesting question. Afaik, the club doesn't get involved in any procurement. There is certainly room for a group buying program or something though, but I guess I'd have to initiate it.

You havn't learnt the benefit of guests and girlfriends at the range it you're still picking up your own brass!

When buying factory I usually go either Blaser or Federal, both made in the same place I imagine because they come in the same boxes.

I have teenage boys to pick brass, and I'm past the girlfriend stage - the wife frowns on that sort of thing...;)
