Recommend a good tactical scope for a SL8

Im looking for a tactical-style scope with slight magnifications(3-5x), thats rather small in size to put on an SL8 that would look "cool" and not ruin the look.

What would you recommend?

Im leaning towards one of the Trijicon scopes. Anyone have any opinions on them, or alternatives?

I've heard a lot of good stuff about the Nightforce ones.

1-4x24mm and 2.5-10x24mm

Depends on whether you want a variable power optic or not.
For what you describe, either the Nightforce or the Leupold MK4 1.5-5X...
It just depends how much you want to spend.
The Leup is going to run you around a grand, and the Nightforce is in the $1400 range...
If you're awash with cash...get the best...the Schmidt and Bender Short Dot...
but be ready to part with $2200 or so....
If you want to go with a fixed optic, the Trijicon ACOG is hard to beat.

Im thinking about getting a Trijicon TA31 DOC. Anyone has any feedback on it?

Trijicon has some nice glass from the one example I've looked through. I was actually impressed.

That being said. You have a German gun. Your choices are limited .

Think S&B if you're going to go that route. Keep it European. I cheated with my Swiss arms by going with a Zeiss Conquest. Only due to costs/performance ratio reasons. That being said, if you can keep it all Euro trash then go for it
