Recommend a light for my Shotgun

What sort of mount are you using? I just picked up a 590 retrograde with 18-1/2” barrel a few days ago and am interested in adding a light as well. Been looking around the ‘net and have found the GG&G 590 flashlight mount and the CDM Gear MTR - Mossberg 590 Magazine Clamp with 3-Slot Rail/Flashlight Mount. But haven’t found a Canadian source for he former, and the only Canadian source I’ve found for the latter charges almost 3 times the US price. Any other options I could be looking at?

Wolverine carry GG&G stuff , if they don't have it on their website, email them, they will get it for you .

It'll be moderate use. More than an occasional range visit but I don't expect it to see as many rounds a season as my skeet / sporting clays shotguns (3K+ rnds).

Good to know - Next questions:

How bright do you want? Where/how is it going to be used? For indoors, some prefer as little as 300 lumens to minimize blinding yourself from reflections off of walls. For outdoors, face melting power can be useful. In either case, intelligent lensing is significant.

Any preference between dedicated rail-mount lights and handheld-with-clamp-adapter formats? Both can be had with quick release options.

Rechargeable vs. replaceable battery? Do you want momentary on/off switching? Strobe feature?
