Recommend a tree stand for a big dude

I didn't realize you wanted to use it for bow..... Pop ups and bows don't go well together and a big enough one is going to be sure we costly.... Don't know what your budget is, but there is a summit viper for sale in the EE for $300..... They look to be solid stands...

That reminds me of another question I had:

I see some ground blinds advertise "shoot through mesh". Is that just for rifles? Or do people actually shoot arrows through too? I can't imagine that not affecting accuracy.

OP make sure the stand that you chose says HEAVY DUTY on the box in big bold letters! In my younger days I have been in a few old rickety homemade wooded ones, not a good feeling! I'm a ground crew person now!

Ladder Stand for me and very comfortable and safe in them. I am 285. Forget the name but I bought it at Cabelas
Was also looking at the Original #104 Super Hulk Climber Tree Stand at the time which is rated for 500 pounds but I am not a climber guy

Cheers

There was a time when people used cloth diapers and washed them. You could save alot towards your stand that way. I am only 52 and though I never had any kids of my own I can remember changing relatives little ones and putting the cloth diapers in a diaper pail to be washed.

Sorry to veer off topic, but the reusable diapers available today are nothing like the cotton and safety pin crap people used 100 years ago. The ones we have fit the child from newborn until they're potty trained through a pattern of snaps that allow you to make many adjustments as the kid grows. The lined and leak proof diapers come in many patterns and the microfleece and bamboo liners keep baby's skin dry while preventing diaper rash that's often caused by disposable diapers.

Get the hose kit that hooks onto your toilet to rinse off the poo before tossing the diaper in the bin. Do a load of laundry every other day, max two days.

30 diapers and liners cost less than $275. I think it works out to $2-3,000 a year for disposables?

Hang on tree stands are the most portable stands on the market. Generally the cheapest too. The issue is the getting up the tree part, 12 screw in pegs or 3 climbing sticks will get most guys as high as needed to deceive the deer. Most places will put them on sale from $50-$200bucks just before deer season. Then another $40-50buck for pegs or sticks? Check Menards in the
USA. Really cheap prices for tree stands

BUY A GOOD SAFETY HARNESS AND USE IT! You owe it to your diaper wearers!!!!!!

Amen to that, toss the POS one that comes with the stand and get a proper harness
