Recommend me a f-class bipod

Have a look at the SEB joypod.
——- he does not have the money to do things right the first time

——- he will buy overseas or complain or buy the cheap mpod

——- he won’t listen as he designs and then builds his own a lot

——- he is quite stubborn and won’t listen to reason most days

——- and I am telling how I really feel

:)

A lot of good points there, but forgot couple from the basics

——- he's saying try to fix it first before buying always new
——- he is not rich to buy cheap things
——- he is saying for every money there is something to buy, and doing a good research no matter how long it takes or how far needs to go
——- he learned through many hobbies that piling up toys will sooner or later just block the locker access

Thanks for all the learning curve

I have a question regard the anschutz t-slot rail, I never had any in my hands and can speculate only.
Is that t-slot rail hard clamps to the rest or is it free sliding forward-rearward following the recoil?
I assume a benefit if free slides...a shot follow up may be easier if not bouncing the entire front rest/bipod?

The Anschutz rails are fixed to the forends of the rifles, and solidly clamp the bipod, or hand stop and sling swivel, depending on the firearm.

Thanks for this info.
I am sure that every addon connections just adding to the trouble.
Me better just keep it simple and order the rest with clamps for my arca rails.
Unfortunately the CA vendor/mfg payment option is limited to e-MT only, and that is a no go for me. I want PP or CC.

It clamps hard to your rifle. It’s meant to sit on a piece of carpet or something so the whole rifle skis. The centre locking screw also adjusts cant. It will hold the same level of plane from shot to shot as long as you put the rifle back to the same spot.

Which rest are you looking at? You might want to attend a match and see what everybody else is doing before spending cash on stuff you might regret buying.

If you are talking about Jerry at Mystic Precision he was up until recently a sponsor here. I have met him a few times and purchased a few thousand dollars worth of stuff from him via EMT.

Our provincial championships are coming up starting Aug 9th about a hour from where he lives. A day tip will answer all his questions and F-Class shooting and what works.

Yes, I am planning to go, looking around to find somebody to invite me as a guest/spectator.
I was comunicating with both MPOD and Rempel, also need one labradar from #######. I refuse to pay with e-MT what they asking, but PP only.
I have a FX radar but that one doesn't read high enough pb velocities.

R U competing or just for home use

Rempel is the best but weighs just over 3 pounds without modification
stays in place, great well thought out bipod, used the world over,
not a bipod that companies make 30-40 % on and ship out
remple is very robust, original ski-pod type feet which everyone now copies
Henry ships in a great box as well and shoots for decades in various sports and does very well
he is also a master machinist
cannot say enough good things but the choice is yours
don’t wish to get into a p match about the mood so I won’t

enjoy the journey such as it is

You don’t need to be invited. Show up and introduce yourself to the match organizer or the CRO and tell them you are there to observe. You may have to sign in on the guest list. Bring hearing protection. Hang out with the F’ers and ask questions.

For now this 308 gun is still in work in progress, what I am seeing the grouping @ 300 is not bad also I am seeing there is a room to improve.
I am going step by step on this.
A friend is doing reloading for me and I would need a labradar to analyze the grouping .
Yes, the goal is to compete longer ranges.

Forget the Labradar and the spotting scope upgrade. Buy yourself a Shotmarker or Silver Mountain electronic target. They have a built in crony. And will give you accurate instant shot location right on your tablet or smart phone.
Don’t worry too much about chasing velocity numbers, accuracy trumps speed. A slow V bull is much better than a fast 4. As long as your ammo is somewhat consistent directing the bullets into the middle of the target is up to the shooter.
If you make it out to the ORA Championships bring your tablet or smart phone to see the results on the targets. Otherwise there isn’t much to see at a long range match.

Waiting for the Remple pp invoice, from pictures it looks simple modifying it to suit my game.
See ya all at the ORA Championship, I am planning a visit probably the first day the 9th.

I got distracted and forgot to upload but this is my Arca to T-Slot adaption for the M-Pod.

The bolts used came with the Small Rig Clamp. I just these clamps for my photography as well as I enjoy the flip lock and easy adjustment for tightness.

Nice looking - what is the price these days? Is Henry still in Langdon AB?
$400 for the rest plus the clamp plus the boxing/shipping plus the PP fees. Yes, I got it from Henry.
A quick look at it (without testing it yet) the rest is much lighter then I was expecting, people were telling me it is heavy... not so really, the material underneath is removed maybe this is a revision? When I order it I told Henry how heavy my gun is, about 6.8 Kg.
I was researching prices for several weeks from many vendors or builder, the piece price pretty much fits in middle.

Thanks for the info. That price sounds pretty fair for what you get
