Recommend me a good red dot for 10/22

So, I'm gonna put a bull barrel on my Ruger 10/22. I have always been a peep sight kinda guy, but since I have no front post on the barrel I was thinking of a red dot instead.

Problem is, I have no idea what to get. Never had one before and I need it to hold zero in the bush.

Any suggestions?

For half the price the Bushnell TRS-25 is a better option. Its smaller and doesnt have the controls sticking out the side blocking your FOV. Its about the same profile as an Aimpoint micro, only difference is the TRS may not survive a grenade explosion. Or go years on the same battery. But other than that they do very well for the $130 price. Though if your going with a heavy barrel for an accuracy improvement I would recommend a scope to take advantage of it. A red dot just isnt precise enough to squeeze all the accuracy potential out of a good rifle. Maybe a nice 1-4 power would be a good option. Millet DMS-1 and Mueller Speed Shot look like nice options. The Falcon 1.5-5x30 looks good too but I have no experience with any of the 3.
