Recommend me a varmint scope

I'm a big fan of the redfield scopes in that price range. No BDC per se though.

I'm running a 'scorpion copperhead' on my varmint .223....and honestly I really like it...some folks like to diss it...but I'm keeping it,
Glass is clear, gathers plenty of light, had it 2 years and held centre no probs...jmho

Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14 x42 with ballistic plex reticle. A bit over your stated budget unless you can find it on sale. A bit of arithmetic & ballistic calculator use, (and maybe some fine tuning a reload to fit the range dots even better than commercial ammo if you're into reloading) and you're on your way.

4x and 6x on the low range is a bit too high for me. I like the option of a large field of view.

Ivor. My 223 carries a Leupould 3-9x compact, and I wish I'd bought the 2-7x compact.
