Recommendation for Shotgun?

for that kind of money i'd say get yourself a rem 870 wingmaster. go used also btw the older ones are better built.

personally I love my mossy 500a, but you said you had more money to spend.

If you like to use for trap and skeet then OU is the best choice,
Personally i am not fan of pumps and semis but if you like them, then b.nova or rem 870 is good choice

If it is a pump gun you are looking for there are several under $600 on the EE right now.
I love the Wingmaster and have 5 that I loan out to newbies in various models.

I also have owned a pile of 100's but don't like them - that does not mean they're not well made however.
Excellent guns IMO and my father's doesn't ham even at the hands of inexperienced shooters who tend to ease the charging lever forward instead of letting it cycle on it's own.
i've owned a few 500's but just prefer the Wingmaster.

I actually ended up getting a Mossberg 500 too! Cant wait to try it out. Thanks for your reply!

I have a Weatherby PA459 and I love it !!

very smooth pump action, light shotgun, perfect fit in hands, adjustable rear sight, ghost ring, replacable choke, price is only $450 before taxes.

I had a Remingt. Blackhawk tactical spec. ops, sold it and bought the Weatherby, no regrets at all, with the PA459 you can do tactical and still yet go for small game hunting.
