I like gallows style sight like those from Williams and Lyman, but a Skinner sight, that is attached to the top of the receiver rather than to the side, is less prone to damage. In addition to the ghost ring receiver sight, I'd swap out the bead for a rectangular post front sight, also available from Skinner. A rectangular post front sight, provides a better index of elevation than a round bead or a tapered post, and should be considered analogous to a cross hair, where the flat top equates with the horizontal wire, and the center line of the post equates with the vertical wire.
