Recommendation for sights on Mod 94 AE

I'm looking to put some better/best sights on my wifes 44 Mag Trapper AE. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Looking for stuff that works and is quick to shoot.

I like gallows style sight like those from Williams and Lyman, but a Skinner sight, that is attached to the top of the receiver rather than to the side, is less prone to damage. In addition to the ghost ring receiver sight, I'd swap out the bead for a rectangular post front sight, also available from Skinner. A rectangular post front sight, provides a better index of elevation than a round bead or a tapered post, and should be considered analogous to a cross hair, where the flat top equates with the horizontal wire, and the center line of the post equates with the vertical wire.
 
I just put williams WGRS sights on my marlin 336.
First set of peep sights. I think they are awesome.
My off hand groups shrunk from 8"+ @ 100yrds to holding 3" pretty easy.

I also find they help keep my target in focus.

I ordered from williams factory.
 
Williams receiver sight is my recommendation. Have it installed on my .357 Trapper. Can use the large aperture and get an effective Ghost ring sight picture.

Cabelas had the Williams 94 FP se at one time but no longer shows on the website. It attaches using the two scope mounting screws on top of the receiver and is a fantastic upgrade for the 94. Skinner is great too but I prefer the Williams for ease of zeroing. Be aware that you may (likely) need to add a taller front sight post to compensate for the taller rear sight. Also when you order, also order a dovetail slot filler, to clean up the barrel dovetail for a clean finished look. The most accurate (by far) sight I have on a 94 is a Marble Arms tang sight. I can shoot equally to a 4x scope with the tang sight, its really incredible once you try one. Kinda fugly depending on your taste, and requires a slight modification to grip and handling, but if ultimate accuracy with iron sights is your goal, a tang sight cant be beat.
 
In addition to my answer above, I also have a 94AE with 24" barrel mounted with weaver bases and a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 scope which I recently paid around $160cad + tx for at BP. Its a really nice handling combination, the scope isnt too big and ugly, and quality of the scope for the money is really high. Its part of Nikons Slughunter lineup so you know its built to take a beating.

I'm still on the fence whether I'll carry the 1986 Win94 AE 24" 30-30 with scope or the 2011 Win 94 24" Miroku built Sporter with Marble Arms Tang sight for deer this season. Both shoot and handle wonderfully and accurately.
