Recommendations for a NR black rifle

T97 is a good Rifle for the money as well as a M305. Mini 14s are going at a bit of a discount these days as well.
I'm looking for a non-restricted black rifle. Seems like there are a lot of rumours and opinions about them.

Can anyone recommend something of quality that doesn't have a history of issues.

Mainly .223 but will look at .308 as well.

The T97 2nd gen that I had the pleasure of shooting is very nice to shoot, especially with a RDS or similar optic. Recoil is much softer then a 11" AR , I guess due to the weight of the rifle, very very soft shooting

Says the guy who's 5.56 keltec is REGISTERED IN AN ILLEGAL REGISTRY..... LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
"my friends keltec has been reliable for over 2000 rounds and never one stoppage"

Aint that the truth!

First, I dont have a single gun in this illegal registry

Second, 2000 rounds is hardly "used". You want to prove reliability ? Ask your friend to shoot 10k round out of it see how/when it fails

2 guns which have not been mentioned is the FX 9 PCC 9mm takes glock mags it's pretty fun and quite reliable.

The second I have no experience with but have been fascinated by ... FNAR .308 semi which is reputed to be very accurate.

my 2 cents

Most accurate 308 SA available around here, both of mines are MOA or better with one that is .75 MOA.
