Those KIMBER Hunters are a GREAT rifle - Same barreled action as there Much More expensive brothers ! Just have a different stock WHICH is a Very good one and Quite indestructable too ! Some guys call it a CHEAP stock BUT in Reality its a Very Good one ! I have one in 30-06 and its got the factory K coating ( cerakote ) - I Like it ! jmo RJ

^ the best “ plastic” stock I have tried, and once you use RJ’s patented goo removal method you are close to a Montana in weight

Would love to figure out a way to get the molded in mag assembly or a replacement into a wildcat mauser stock

I'm looking To purchase a 7mm-08 With an 18 or 20" barrel. What do you guys all recommend. I know a lot of you will recommend tikka But They Don't have An actual short action and that's a deal breaker for me

For having one, Its not a deal breaker.
Wife is using a Browning Comp Micro with MB.
Ruger maybe?
