Hello averyone, I am looking for recommendations for a used and moderately priced entry level .22 target pistol?

Any recommendations? Is the $100 Drulov Pav Single shot 22 lr. being sold by Tradex considered accurate and of good quality?

thank you

The Drulov is probably as inexpensive a target pistol as you'll ever find! The few I got to try were all really accurate... I guess they were designed as a "club level" 50M free pistol. The next step up in free-pistol are the TOZ35, wich will likely set you back $800-$1200

If you're looking a 22lr to shoot the "Standard" event, you're looking at about $300 for a used Ruger MKII or new MCM Margolin.

The next step is at the + $1000 with the Walther GSP, Pardini, Hammerli...

I have one of those Drulov pistols, it was inexpensive, it is simple, it is big, it is accurate. It is a great cheap starting pistol which you can learn sight acquisition and trigger control and could be used in some club target events, but it is a start. Your next gun should be at least a used Ruger semi auto .22 with adjustable sights, there are other guns that are good but Rugers are inexpensive even when new and used are a better deal if you are just starting and are unsure of which way you will go in the shooting sports ie. bullseye target shooting , center fire IPSC or IDPA style shooting, or even long distant silhouette or Cowboy Action shooting. Where you go is usually governed by what is most active in a club near you. Chances are that if you spend $100 to $150 on a gun and you don't destroy it , paint it, file it, or try to do your own idea of homegunsmithing (bubbaing) you will probably get $100 to $150 back when you sell it. Good luck and have fun.

hey y can get brand new (obsiosly if brand new is acceptable :) ) y can get Norinco M-93 Woodsman (copy of the Colt) semi-auto for about $150, there is sereral stores selling them and review on them looks good.

The one advantage of the Norc 93 is that is works for people with very, very small hands.....

Feeding can be a bear, mine only liked the 36gr Federal American Eagle hollow points.

was considering getting Norc M93 or Norc Tockarev series, price is good, there is only a few reviewes on this guns and all of them on a positiv sides. So there is problem as I can see.. and what about small hands? is M93 that small?

If you have big mits, you'll have few problems with either. But if you have small hands, the M93 or Tok may fit you better than at Ruger Mrk II or a Glock.

Nope! Drulov's can be found in the $100-150 dollar range at Tradeex Canada's web site. These are used guns, but they appear to be in good shape.

I played with a model 75 (2gram button type trigger). Very nice.....but for me, pistols are for blasting.

I have had some these over the years , the 75 is a set trigger-adj.
the 70 is a standard trigger.
Back when I could still see open sights I could shoot gophers at
75- 100yrds (meters) with one of these- And Yes That Was Legal For Me

So, Skeetgunner... my mits are average i guess :) So would you recomend this Norc TT or M93 for a beginer user? Just to begin target shooting? Cuz price is right i think, Thanks a lot.

Honestly, I think you want a .22LR pistol for starting up. Hard to beat $15 for 500 rds, cheap bulk ammo.

Armco had a tuned (by him) M93 w/ two mags for just a little more change than Marstar (one mag $150) I would have picked it up but I went for a higher end .22LR target pistol instead.

Yeah, I would start with .22, I already have a Ruger 10/22 so ammo will match. Unfortunately I'm in the position when I don't have any spare $$$ to buy a premium product, so that is why I'm looking on something with in $200 -250 range. Any suggestions?

S&W 622 sells new for about $ 240 US ... I may have a used one available .... I bought it to teach my wife to shoot, but she wants a Glock .22 LR conversion kit instead.

Years ago I shot a Drulov 75 with the button trigger. Sweet pistol. Accurate and reliable. Been tempted to get one of them from Trade Ex.
Now, I have a Vostok MC2-3, also with a button trigger. Waaaay more accurate than I'll ever be, and I got it for a song from the EE. Box it came with was screwed, but the $ was right.
I also have a Ruger and a Beretta for blasting

(E)
