I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what would do this gun justice . I would like to find something in the 1000-2000 $ price range . Was sort of thinking of going with a trijicon acog with .308 bdc but have also been looking at the accupoint in 5-20 or vortex 6-25 . I'm relatively new to shooting , so any help or insight would be great . Thanks Anthony.

Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10
Its got low enough powers for fast-fun things.
High enough power to make the .308 work.
A solid reticle with illumination.
Plus tactical turrets and a pseudo-zero stop.
I love mine with the 44mm lens, but their new 33mm super-light at the same power looks solid too.

Nightforce 2.5-10x24 (or 32)... better scope than the Vortex - but TVPP is right-on with the benefits of the 2.5-10x. :)

I have this optic on my NR ACR and it's perfect. But I would like to try an Trijicon Accupoint TR23 as well...

Agreed. Or Nightforce 1-4x if you plan to shoot inside 300m most of the time. If you like bdc reticles, look at NightForce low velocity reticle.

For cheaper the Burris XTR 1.5-6 is very nice with a BDC reticle as well.

If you have back-up sights (BUIS) you could mount the scope in a good American Defence quick-detach mount or ARMS #22 rings.

Did you consider the Elcan Specter DR scopes?
