Recommendations of a high end 9mm for a Lefty!?

STI is known to make good guns. They make the 2011 and 1911 styles, the 2011 are double stacks. There are lots of choices in STI so if you don't want/need competition you don't need to pay for those features. Freedom Ventures, a site sponsor here, is the dealer for STI. I have bought from them in the past. I think they are strictly a mail order depo, I tried to go there and got the run around like crazy. Dan Wesson are now making 1911 style hand guns and may restart making revolvers in the future. They made good revolvers with unique features in the past. The Ruger GP100s have been hard to get in the past but I think that is clearing up a bit now. On a logic level the D/A makes a lot of sense, total sense, but from a emotional point of view the S/A just pulls on your heart strings. One way to look at it is your out at the range shooting rounds that cost, say $0.50 cents each or more, with a S/A it takes a bit more time so you maybe spend a little bit less money.
